Must Read Book List For Travelers

To travel without a book would be a tragedy.

The first book that I can remember my sister giving me was On The Road by Jack Kerouac. I fell in love. These characters. The journey. The way Kerouac writes with no fucks to give for the guidelines of society nor the guidelines for whatever English class I was probably in at the time. I was hooked.

Books have always been a main source of inspiration and companionship for me. While I’m traveling, I always have at least one book on me. Here’s a list of my favorite books (as well as a few favorites of others) about travel as well as one’s that just make great travel companions.
